Entering History and discovering the La Rochère Glassworks
Proud holder of ancient and rare traditional know-how,
La Verrerie La Rochère makes a point of ensuring that you
will get acquainted with them.
Established in Passavant La Rochère since 1475, we would be
delighted to welcome you and offer you the chance to find out
about our workshops and the profession of Master Glassmaker,
driven by our passion.
Discover, through a vivid and meticulous scenography,
the history of our journey through time and the development of our, techniques, from the most traditional to the most
modern and innovative.

Visit our workshops: a living museum
The visit is open and free for all.
Discover the thousand-year-old know-how of mouth-blown glass from the Master Glassmakers of La Rochère. You will see the glassmakers picking, hammering, blowing and shaping the glass to transform the molten material.
Opening hours: Reopening from 27th March 2021 – Open every day (except Sundays, Mondays, and public holidays)
Open weekends 4-5 ad 11-12 December.:
10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Meeting of the year:
- Antiques Fair 9 and 10 October, in the rooms of the Art Gallery and the glass cellar.

The Hallier Shop, this 17th century building houses the glassware
shop. You will find a selection of La Rochère’s collections
for decoration, tableware, and jewellery.
Opening hours: open
Everyday, Sunday and public holidays:
only in the afternoon.
27 November to 31 December: 2 p.m. to 5. 30 p.m.
except December 25.
