80 rue de Passy welcomes

on the right bank, in the heart of the 16th arrondissement
of Paris, the second ‘Grande Épicerie’.

Owned by Le Bon Marché (Groupe LVMH),
the establishment originally housed the luxury
fashion brand Franck & Fils,
before becoming a delicatessen.
Complementing the first Grande Epiceriede Paris
located on the left bank, the right bank version boasts
a top floor restaurant, which required the existing roof
to be raised several metres, along with
its majestic glass dome.

A prism of the original glass

was meticulously removed in order to make an
exact reproduction in term of size, geometry
and appearance.

2336 glass ingots identical to the originals
were cast and hand-pressed using the ancestral
expertise of master glassmakers. nstructed
using traditional methods by the company
SOREC. This new dome of glass lacework,
identical to the early 20th century dome,
now sits majestically in the centre of the
Grande Epicerie.
