Born in 1974, Fabrice Gibilaro has a post-graduate diploma in Design from the Beaux Arts of Saint Etienne.
He was introduced to ceramics during a course with Bernardaud. He then created several tableware pieces, in particular a carafe produced by Arcodif, and cutlery for Couzon. With two partners (the “Chameau à Trois Bosses”, or the Three-Humped Camel), he carried out several graphic and design projects.
In 2006, he exhibited a porcelain cup at the “Design et Shop” fair at the Saint Etienne biennial, and it is this cup that La Rochère is issuing in glass. At the same time, Fabrice carried out art projects with schoolchildren: cutlery for the canteen and furniture for the library, the garden and for relaxation. He likes to rethink the use and the shapes of objects, as well as of places for exchanges and shared moments.
